How do we pay back to neighbor's baby gift to us?

I had a baby girl recently and our new neighbor very gracefully gave us some baby gift. We certainly are very thankful. How do we show our appreciation? What would be appropriate in American culture to do to pay back to them? Send some flowers? Food, cake, etc? Your advice would be greatly valued.

How do we pay back to neighbor%26#039;s baby gift to us?
Write them a thank you note (not just a card, make it more personal) and include a picture of the baby. Hand deliver it along with a nice flower arrangement. If you%26#039;re known for your baking, maybe take them something homemade in addition to or instead of the flowers. Congratulations on your baby girl!!!
Reply:A thank you card you can find them in any store that has a card section.
Reply:Usually just a thank you card will do.
Reply:A hand written card of thanks will do.
Reply:a thank you card for the baby gift is enough . your neighbors just want to be friends and welcome to the neighborhood. Go over and visit and take the Thank You Card. introduce your self and maybe even take them baby to say hello and how much you and husband and the baby appreciate the gift. maybe let the baby wear the gift the gift. All ways be a good neighbor .
Reply:I don%26#039;t think you are suppose to pay them back, a thank you card is all that%26#039;s needed.
Reply:Something homemade would be great. Maybe a pie, or batch of cookies, something that says you were thankful enough to take time to make something. What a sweet thing for you to want to give back. Too many people in society today just want to take. God bless you!
Reply:Invite them over to your house for lunch or holiday treats.
Reply:I think a lovely letter outlining how appreciative you are for the present that they presented to you and your baby would be wonderful make sure you put in how wonderfully delighted you were in receiving the gift from them and how delighted you were that they thought of you and shared in this joyus occasion..Just make sure it is a pesonal letter saying thankyou for the lovely ex:photo frame.that sort of thing just remember that it was a gift and it is the thought that counts.
Reply:Any of the things you mentioned would be more than they expect and all are very nice gestures. Just saying thank you or giving them a thank you card is plenty. Congratulatoins on your little girl!
Reply:Gifts are given with love, with no expectation of anything in return. A written note of thanks is enough.

Congratulations on your new baby girl.
Reply:Sometimes nothin%26#039; can be a real cool hand.
Reply:Send them a video re-enactment of the conception. Thats what I would want.
Reply:start with a card ..a thank you card ..

and maybe inviting them out to dinner with you and your family one night.
